Research into creating a colourful plywood material

This project aimed to explore the technical possibilities of creating a composite sheet material by layering coloured paper and birch veneer. The focus was on how colour could be embedded structurally and made visible through exposed edges, rather than through surface decoration. The edge became the main site of expression, highlighting material construction in a direct and tactile way.
