Each year, scholarships in design and crafts are awarded to graduating students from HDK-Valand, Academy of Art and Design at Gothenburg University. Nominations are submitted by faculty representatives from each programme, after which the board makes a final decision based on the proposals received. Each scholarship currently carries a fixed award of SEK 10,000. The recipients are honoured at a ceremony hosted by the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the end of the academic year.
